Hello there!
Who am I again? I am Brett Bejcek. I live by my top values of Exploration, Iteration, and Connection. Exploration is what I do; I do it through iteration; and I do it to create more connection. These days, I spend a lot of time working on a startup, Limitless. It is my main priority. Outside of work, I am prioritizing physical health, (re)building community, and cultivating creativity through weekend projects.
Fun Metrics. A peek into my life: some tied to goals, others just for fun. Because I’m not a business, I’m a silly human. And silly humans sometimes spend 30 minutes comparing pastries consumed instead of finishing their to-do list.

Fun lil’ memories

Highlights of October:
- Wow. Looking back, I really lived this month. I feel myself shifting from surviving to thriving: slowly but surely. Maybe life is simple: spend time with people you love doing the things you love. Probably an oversimplification, but honestly, this might have been my favorite month of the year. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the people I get to show love to.
- Even though I traveled a lot and saw so many different faces, I ended the month with stillness. Being back in NYC with no travel plans feels like a gift. A moment to rebuild rituals, deepen routines, and refill my creative cup. This past year tested my ability to protect my creative energy…and losing it was scary. That hollow feeling of wanting to create and finding nothing there was a wake-up call. I won’t get to that place again. I feel more grounded now than I have all year and intend to keep it that way.
- CDMX Midnight Runners, aka the best run club out there. I cried running through the streets with music blasting, surrounded by people who felt like co-conspirators in joy. My soul had been missing that sense of freedom and connection. For the first time in a while, I felt completely alive.
Lowlight of October:
- Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about aging. It’s such a strange feeling: to look in the mirror and see time passing not through milestones or achievements, but through the soft etchings of experience on your skin. It’s not bad, just…real. It’s made me more aware of the kind of life I want to live and the pace I want to live it at. This feels like a season of reinvention: equal parts freeing and unsettling. Out of it comes a yearning to build tools for long-term thinking, ways to stretch our focus beyond the next notification or dopamine hit.
How did I do on my goals last month?
Honestly great. No notes. 👏🏻

On the first of every month I do a little self-audit and put it out into the world. Why? Accountability, reflection, and because life’s more fun when you share the messy middle.
